Roy, it is typically taking more than 200 days to foreclose on property. That said, it might be 360 days or longer. I heard from someone on my WSB Radio talk show last Sunday who told me that he moved out three years ago when facing imminent foreclosure and the bank never foreclosed. The property just slipped through the cracks.

The foreclosure filings numbers overall is down overall this month, but banks are completing more foreclosures. Here's a look at the monthly numbers: http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-505145_162-57372940/home-foreclosures-decline-but-completions-rise/?tag=cbsnewsLeadStoriesAreaMain
