National Consumer Protection Week, March 3-9, is a great time to learn more about how you can help guard against identity theft, fraud, and scams; make informed financial decisions; and know your rights.
The annual week is a coordinated campaign among federal, state and local agencies, and organizations encouraging consumer education. Participating agencies include the Federal Trade Commission, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the National Association of Attorneys General. Many of these partners offer educational materials to help consumers be wary of scams and stay protected.
